It was our last morning in Kona, and we were squeezing in some snorkeling and such before heading to the airport. The beach we were at had paddle boards and I LOVE paddle boarding! We went out on the water with about 40 minutes left before heading to the airport. Just as I was nagging that we had been out too long and needed to get back to shore, I turned around to see Luke on one knee on his paddle board, pulling a box out of his pocket. (Actually it was a ziploc bag with the box inside and the ring in the box. The ziploc was his "flotation device".) After I fought through the shock and said "yes," he put the ring on my finger to make sure it fit and immediately took it back, put it back in the box, and back in the zip lock bag. We paddled back to shore, he gave me the ring back and we raced off to the airport. Made our flight with seconds to spare.
This website is a little funny! On the registry page, you'll see our "Home Down Payment" fund and it looks like thats the only thing on there. BUT, if you just click on "other registries" it will link you to our other stuff!
