Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Our wedding is an outdoor venue, so we are keeping things casual to dressy casual. There are gravel roads, so maybe skip the stilettos ladies. Also, the average temperature in Nantahala is 60's-70's during June.

Question

Am I allowed to take pictures?

Answer

We ask that you mindfully take pictures during the ceremony. Please do not have your phones out during the entire ceremony as this can interfere with our professional photographers. Enjoy the moment with us :)

Question

Are face masks required?

Answer

We will abide by local and state laws. NC mandates that face coverings are required in public outdoor settings if individuals are unable to maintain six feet of social distance with non-household members. Please bring a mask if you feel you cannot maintain social distancing. Our ceremony and venue is outdoors.

Question

What about COVID-19?

Answer

We ask that you begin taking your temperature once a day starting 48 hours before the wedding. If you exhibit ANY of the following symptoms, we urge you not to come: fever, trouble breathing, cough, or any ill-like symptoms or "under the weather". If you are family, we will do everything we can to set up a video for the ceremony. COVID-19 is still a serious concern, and we do not want to contribute to the spread of this dangerous disease.

Question

Are you afraid of dogs?

Answer

Obviously if you know us, you know our dogs are part of our family. We plan to have all 3 dogs in the ceremony and at the reception. They are friendly, love to be pet, and will eat any food you offer them (but don't lol).
