How does this whole thing work?

Answer

Once you arrive to the Resort, it will be an all-inclusive experience! All meals are provided at the Clubhouse, all activities are within the Resort (unless you take advantage of the walking trails outside the resort), and all wedding festivities will be held throughout the Resort. Alcohol can be purchased at the Marathon gas station on State Street in town.

What should I wear?

Answer

Friday night: Cocktail attire. Sports jacket, khakis & tie for men, dress shoes. No jeans, no suits. Saturday: Elevated cocktail attire. Everything listed above, but more ~*special*~

Where do we stay?

Answer

Accommodations in the resort's private cottages are complimentary and will be provided upon arrival. Please treat these cottages as if you would staying at your grandparents' house; with a lot of respect and care. Guests are asked to arrive and register at the Clubhouse on Friday afternoon between 2:00 and 6:00 pm (Harbor Beach is on EST).

What are the rules of the resort?

- Please observe a 15 mph speed limit in the resort - If there is an issue with your accommodations, please notify your host or the Clubhouse front desk - If you are allowed access to a golf cart, please follow the rules posted on the cart - No alcohol is allowed in the Clubhouse except for the Wedding Reception Saturday evening. - No tipping of the staff is allowed - No smoking is allowed in or around resort facilities - No cell phone usage is allowed in the Clubhouse except at Breakfast - No boating is allowed outside the harbor - Life jackets are required when boating - No hats in the Clubhouse

What do we do about other meals?

Answer

All meals will be provided in the Clubhouse at specified times (see schedule page). We will be covering the costs of all meals for the weekend for our guests. Attire is resort casual for breakfast and lunch, with coat and tie/cocktail for dinner.

What if I want to arrive before Friday or stay later?

Answer

The cottages we have reserved are available from 2pm Friday- 2pm Sunday. We recommend you check out the incredible resurgence Detroit has experienced over the past decade. Recommendations on what to do/where to stay around Detroit can be provided upon request!

Question

What should I do about my kiddos?

Answer

Harbor Beach is a great place for kids, and for when you need a break, also has many babysitters living locally. We will provide parents a list of available babysitters prior to the wedding weekend so you can choose who is right for your family. We ask that children do not attend the wedding ceremony, cocktail party, dinner, and after party, but are welcome to all other events.
