Wedding Party

Allison Dunn

Matron of Honor

Allie and I were nearly inseparable during our high school years. We frequented the bowling alley, shared one ear bud each on our ipod minis on the bus to field hockey and lacrosse games, and usually sat by ourselves in the KP lunch room snacking on chewy sprees and mentos. It should be mentioned, we did all that while rocking birkenstocks, jean shirts, knee high socks, and double polos.

Thomas Eaton

Groomsman

I knew Kerry’s little brother Tom was going to be a problem the first time we went to a concert together. He tricked me in to drinking multiple beers, and the next morning I woke up 4 hours late for a trip and totally incapacitated. He’s become one of my best friends, and I can’t wait to have him as my brother in-law.

Sarah Diehl

Bridesmaid

Sarah lives in NYC so we don't get to hang out that much; however, the amount of board games we have played together is probably above average. The games we play are usually "imagine iff" or "loaded questions," which means we get to learn quirky details about each other, such as if Sarah were a drink, she would be a Manhattan. While Luke always knew my brother "would be a problem," I knew Sarah never would be. Cheers to having a new sister!

Heath Rising

Groomsman

Heath and I rained chaos down on the University of Illinois campus for two of the most fun years of my life. If he hadn’t helped me study, I’d probably still be there. Though I’ve gone on to get several jobs since U of I and he’s been fooling around with lasers in a glorified garage, we’ve stayed close since college and traveled to see each other every year.

Amy Lepley

Bridesmaid

We met on the first day of Kindergarten and it took 6 months for us to have a play date because her number wasn't listed in the phone book. We navigated the early elementary years together, mostly by competing for fastest mile time in P.E. and who could make the prettiest ~*AIM*~ profile. We also had a tendency to be in matching outfits totally by accident, including on our second grade picture day, in which we were seated next to each other.

Karl Roth

Groomsman

Out of the 5 other boys in my 6th grade class, there was only one who could throw a baseball. Karl and I became sports buddies immediately, but we forged our real friendship eating undercooked sausages after surfing. He took Kerry and me further into the Wyoming wilderness than we’ve ever been, and even brought us back.

Kerry McGinn

Bridesmaid

"Hi, my name is Kerry, I live on third floor Houston, and I play lacrosse." This was our introduction to everyone our freshman year at Tufts. If you are confused who is who, so was every one else. She's the blond to my brunette and the "let's dye our hair purple." She's always up for any outdoor adventure and she's lucky we happened to be in Yellowstone the same day her van broke down. Luke and I are basically heroes.

Jake MacIntosh

Groomsman

When Jake and I started going to school together, my mom told me I should make friends with him. His house a block away, but we might as well have lived together in middle and high school. Plus, if I don’t have him in my wedding party, I’m scared he’ll post middle school photos of me on his Instagram.

Rachel Aronchick

Bridesmaid

Rachel was actually my first Facebook friend from Tufts (she sent the request, not me, and I'll never let her forget it), yet we didn't actually meet until the summer before our senior year. Playing sports on opposite seasons made it even harder to become friends, but after college we both needed a roommate. Since then, we have missed flights to Switzerland, battled blizzards in Vermont and are the only two people to actually order Bailey's in Ireland. Also, she gets the shout out for convincing me to give hinge a shot.

Nick Geron

Groomsman

All of the activities Nick and I do together tend to be pretty frustrating: fishing, adult soccer leagues, dog ownership, watching the Celtics. But his positive attitude makes all those things fun even when we’re doing them really, really badly. So whatever the next new thing I try is, I can look forward to repeatedly failing at it with Nick.

Rachel Bowers

Bridesmaid

More commonly known as "Irish Rachel," she is easily the second (only to Luke) best thing I ever found online. We were brought together by Craigslist when we were both looking for roommates. She lived in the room with no windows during her year long stint in Boston. Despite the Atlantic separating us, we continue a close friendship, mostly by tagging each other in dog videos on Facebook.
