Flashback to freshman year of high school when I would do Luke's homework because he would "forget" to do it, and the constant jokes making fun of me. After many months of being friends and just texting back and forth we finally started dating. The rest is history. Who would have ever thought that would lead to us getting married eight years later?

For months I had been saying I wanted to go to the mountains and cut down a Christmas Tree. So, on November 29th Kamryn, Jordan, Luke, and myself took a day trip to Boone to cut down a Christmas Tree. Before going to the Christmas Tree Farm, we made a stop at Howards Knob, an overlook of Boone. The park was closed, but I guess Luke didn't have a Plan B, so we crawled under the gate and walked to the overlook where Luke asked me to marry him. Through the laughing, fast heartbeats, and Luke trying to put the ring on the wrong finger I said yes!
