Six days after meeting, they went on their first date at Shaker n’ Peel. From that night on, they became pretty inseparable. They met in August, started dating in October, and by January, Luke was heading to Arizona. Enter: long distance. Thankfully, Kaela’s remote job allowed her to travel and spend extended periods of time with him, though goodbyes never got easier—a clear sign of how much the relationship meant. Then came their greatest blessing—something that surpassed any job, amount of money, home, or car. They were pregnant.
