our happily ever after

Hello family & friends, We are excited to welcome you on this journey into the next chapter of our lives together. We are so blessed to have our nearest and dearest joining us to celebrate our special day. The countdown is on... Mr & Mrs Rudkin-to-be!

We both began our search for love on an online dating app and soon after went on our first date in March 2017. Little did we know, in that moment we’d end up as each other’s best friend and soulmate. May 2017 came around and we made our relationship official. We were suddenly swept up in the whirlwind of a new relationship and soon realised that we just simply adored each other. November 2017 was where we first said ‘I love you’ in front of the Eiffel Tower in Paris. Since then we have been on many beautiful holidays, from Croatia to Jamaica, Italy to St Lucia. We LOVE to travel and see the world. Give us sunshine, blue skies, sandy beaches and each others company any day and we’re as happy as can be! Holidaying is our escapism and it’s what we live for. We have made so many wonderful memories over the years; swimming with dolphins, climbing mountains, chasing waterfalls, sipping cocktails and watching sunsets. Fast forward to 2023, we both turned 30 and what better way to celebrate our big birthdays than a holiday in Mauritius. WOW. What a stunning country! Luke had other ideas up his sleeve on this trip… Right at the end of the holiday, Luke got down one one knee and asked Jade to marry him. He captured it all perfectly on camera, a video we will keep to look back on forever. It was the easiest ‘yes’ Jade had ever said. The day was perfect and in the words of Lukes’s dad Neil; ‘congratulations, you absolutely smashed it’. From then on the wedding planning began and here we are - only a short time before we become Mr & Mrs!
