By Luke and Ila November: Ila saw my obnoxious personality as I tried to be the center of attention at orientation. It wouldn't be long till I saw her gentle, yet very funny spirit, at the sand dunes. -Luke He later confessed to not remembering meeting me and asking my name at orientation. -Ila However when it wasn't 10 girls I was talking to, and I was able to... -Luke It was only like 4! -Ila Excuse me, 4 girls! I was able to see her and find her truly interesting. Soon we'd go dancing and she'd ask me on our first date - Luke I remember asking him at the last minute on a group date my friends were planning because I still hadn't asked anyone and the date was the next day. We hit it off so well! After all he was sweet, so incredibly sweet, and cute. We later had so much fun at a haunted river group date. -Ila I remember thinking that Luke was the kindest guy I've ever meet (he still is) and I didn’t want to stop hanging out. He didn't just say sweet things he showed them too. He stayed busy, worked hard, supported me, and he is service oriented, and made things so fun all the time. -Ila This first date was the most fun I'd ever had with a girl. We held hands the whole time! I was way nervous and super eager to make it work. I wanted to spend even more time with her after the haunted house. She was so open and funny, not to mention she was conservative lol. It felt like we had so much to talk about and it never got boring. She is truly one of a kind -Luke Present: We are so excited to see what adventures are to come!

By Luke and Ila Earlier that day Luke asked me to go on a date to dinner, and so I got all dressed up. Right after we got into the car Luke said he forgot something. He then proceeded to go inside and came out a with a blindfold. I knew there was some kind of surprise, and we had been talking about a certain surprise for some time. I remember sitting in the car smiling like an idiot. Then Luke played a video of him talking about all the things he loves about me. Those words were so incredibly sweet. He still tried to pretend we were going to dinner, but I knew we were not because I could feel the gravel road we were driving on. Everything was so ADORABLE! -Ila We pulled up to the "spot" it was called "trout point" and Ila was still blindfolded. My heart was pounding outside of my chest at this point! This was about to be the most memorable day of my life as I walked her down the dock with her blindfold on and asked her to remove it and turn around. When she turned around I was awe-struck as I was able to ask the love of my life to spend time and all eternity with me. This was truly one of the most memorable experiences of my life! I love Ila and all she does and continues to do for me. Everthing was PERFECT! -Luke
