Our Story
We first met in the summer of 2023 while working at a Pine Cove middle camp. It was Luke’s fourth summer as a senior counselor and Harlie’s first. She happened to be assigned to Wake Park, led by the really cute senior counselor, Luke. That summer, Harlie had a crush, but that was it. Camp ended, life moved on, and we didn’t talk again for over a year.
In August 2024, we both joined The Forge, a leadership and discipleship program through Pine Cove. At first, we were just friends, but as time went on, things shifted. Halfway through The Forge, we ended up in the same van on a trip, and that long drive gave us time to really talk. Harlie started encouraging Luke, and that’s when Luke began to really like her.
To be clear, Harlie didn’t come to The Forge trying to flirt with Luke. She liked him once, but never thought anything would happen. Luke asked her on a date and by the second date we were dating!
Now we can’t wait to celebrate with all of you at our wedding!
