Our recommended airport for out-of-town guests is DTW for the combination of distance and cost! DTW is about 30 minutes from our hotel block and St. Thomas.
Hotel
We reserved a block of rooms at a discounted rate: $109 per night. Ann Arbor Regent Hotel is 22 minutes away from the Detroit Metropolitan Airport, and about midway between our ceremony and reception venues. We found that this hotel has the best rate, the most convenient location, and the most comfortable atmosphere, but please feel free to book another hotel near by! Please note: There are currently available rooms in the hotel, but our online discount code doesn't always go through. If this happens to you, just call the hotel and they will book your room!
