Moxy Minneapolis Downtown
A large number of our guests (including ourselves) are staying at the Moxy, a modern + minimalist hotel in the city's Mill District. The hotel is a short ride across downtown from the wedding venue, and is just two blocks from the light rail - though parking is also available for $35/night (or part of certain room packages). Rooms come with complimentary wifi and a welcome cocktail for each guest. While the ability to book with our block expired on May 1, regular rooms are still available to book at the hotel's site linked above. If you're looking for more space to spread out, the Sonder East End is directly across the street from the Moxy and provides one or two bedroom apartment-style rentals (see below).

Sonder at East End
For those with more than 2-3 guests traveling together, or those that would like a kitchen and common room space, Sonder East End provides affordable luxury apartment-style rentals directly across the street from the Moxy. One or two-bedroom apartments are available for rent (typically at comparable rates to nearby hotels). While the location is not a hotel (no staff on site, you will receive self-check-in instructions on your phone), it does have coffee in the lobby, and a pool + grilling area. This option is ideal for those traveling in larger groups or for a longer stay of 2+ nights, as units have closets, a fridge, and cooking space.

Metro Transit
Metro Transit is the Twin City's Bus and Light Rail system. The Moxy is located just 2 blocks from a light rail station (US Bank Stadium). Several of our events and places of interest (MSP Airport, Minnehaha Park, Modist Brewery, The Cardinal Bar, Allianz Field, Target Field, Mall of America) are located at Blue or Green line light rail stops. A day pass is just $5 and is a great way to get across downtown or explore the city's vibrant neighborhoods (including the one we live in)!
