It all began with a hesitant swipe right on a dating app. Their initial messages flowed effortlessly, a surprising 8 hour long first date, with both putting everything out there. A surprising connection forming, despite the 150-mile distance between Luke in Ione and Fa in Fresno. Weekly phone calls and weekend visits bridged the gap, their love story unfolding amidst road trips and shared dreams. The challenges of a long-distance relationship tested their patience and commitment. They learned to cherish every moment together, savoring the quiet moments and celebrating the milestones, big and small. Two years later, Luke's house in Ione felt more like home with Fa by his side. The distance that once seemed insurmountable had vanished, replaced by the warmth of shared laughter and the comfort of everyday life. On their 2024 Christmas curise to the Bahamas, Luke knelt down on the soft fine sand of Half Moon Cay and asked Fa to marry him. Fa said yes, and their love story culminating in a promise of forever. Now, as they prepare to walk down the aisle, they cherish the memories of their journey, recognizing that their love has grown stronger because of the challenges they overcame and the unwavering respect and support they have shown for each other throughout their relationship.
