How should I RSVP?

When the invitations arrive, use this website to RSVP, please. Go to the RSVP page and submit your RSVP there!

What time should I arrive at the church?

Answer

The Mass will start at 2:00 PM. Please arrive 15 minutes before it starts in order to give yourself ample time to get through beach traffic and find a seat.

Is there anything special I should be aware of for Mass?

Answer

Yes! Mass is very important for Catholics, and especially the receiving of the Eucharist at Holy Communion. If you are not a practicing Catholic in the state of grace, please refrain from receiving the Eucharist during the wedding Mass. We, as well as the Catholic Church as a whole, are so delighted you came to share in our day. If you would like to stand in the line to receive a blessing please do so with your arms crossed in an X shape on your chest. This will signal to the priest to give you a blessing instead of the Eucharist! Or, you may remain in your pew during Communion!

What is the dress code?

Answer

The dress code is formal. We would love for our guests to embrace colorful summer looks that reflect the joy of the day! We also kindly ask that attire remains respectful and modest for the Nuptial Mass!

If you are staying in town after the wedding and reception there are so many options for Vigil and Sunday Masses! Some of our personal Favorites are: Stella Maris - Sullivan's Island Saturday Vigil: 5:30pm Sunday: 8am, 9:30, 11:30am, 5:30pm (Latin) The Cathedral of St. John the Baptist - Downtown Charleston Saturday Vigil: 5:30pm Sunday: 9am, 11:15am (Solemn Novus Ordo), 6:30pm (Spanish) St. Clare of Assisi - Daniel Island Saturday Vigil: 5pm Sunday: 9am, 11am
