Our Story

October 2, 2020–We met during a cleaning shift at college in October. For the next two months, we saw each other occasionally in the company of mutual friends.

January 2021–We shared our feelings for one other in January. For the next nine months, we grew closer and became good friends.

September 26, 2021–After a long period of remaining friends, Luke (finally) asked Elyse to be his girlfriend. Sadly, she said no (just kidding). This was also the first time we said I love you.

Dating—Over the following year, we grew very close, and became best friends.

September 18, 2023–Luke proposed on a Sunday morning in September. Luke set up a hunting camera in the woods and captured the whole thing. Sadly, the day was cut short when Elyse got very sick.

June 24 2023-The rest of our days. For better or for worse. All for Christ.
