Delaney and Luke's story began in January 2021—though their paths had crossed long before. Both attended Purdue University from 2016–2020 and ran in many of the same circles, yet they didn’t officially meet until after college. What followed was a relationship built on patience, resilience, and love. Together, they navigated long distance, military trainings, new jobs, going back to school, and a deployment, supporting one another every step of the way. Luke proposed to Delaney on August 14, 2025, in Washington, DC, marking the start of their next chapter. Soon after, in November 2025, they reached two exciting milestones: buying their first home and adopting their dog, Zoey. They are incredibly grateful for the journey that brought them here and are excited for all that the future holds.
