Luke and Courtney's favorite brewery in town. Famous for Holy Jean’s, which is a blueberry wheat. But they have many options and carry other local brewery options also. Very near Constitution Trail.
By far the largest operation in the area. Distributes from Alaska to Virginia and multiple foreign countries. Famous for their sour beers. We prefer the beer hall over the restaurant.
Has multiple options for different types of beer, also has a great patio (on the east side of the building).
Great beer, a bit out of the way. Luke’s bro-in-law, Phil’s, favorite brewery in town.
Newest brewery in town and has just started making their own beer. Cool building, but we cannot vouch for the beer. Located in Uptown Normal, within walking distance of hotel, and has a very nice rooftop (please don’t expect big city skyline views).
If you have been around Luke for any length of time, you know this is where he used to work during/after college. Still has a very dear place in his heart. If you want a college bar to sit down and watch games, this is your place. Very large beer garden. Also located in Uptown Normal, 0.3 miles from the hotels. Please do not confuse this with the Pub I Restaurant & Lounge (big difference).
450 foot walk from the hotels. Has many wine options and craft beer choices. Very good charcuterie options. They do not carry Busch Light and Miller Lite. Smaller seating area and bar seating available. Very nice place to hang out but you actually have to talk with each other. Great place for pre/post dinner.
Pretty good burgers and cheese balls, incredible wings!!!
Irish pub located in Uptown Normal. Decent food. Nice atmosphere.
A bit of a ways from the hotels. Amazing wings and onion rings. Famous for their pork tenderloin, which is the size of a pizza. Great beer garden!
• Epiphany Farms Restaurant: their flagship restaurant, contemporary American fine dining (reservations encouraged) • Anju Above: small plates, ramen, and wood-fired pizza. Also has really Midwest sushi (no reservations necessary (may be a wait) but will take them for groups of six or more) • Bakery & Pickle: only open certain dates (reservations required) • Harmony Korean BBQ: if you order “the experience”, you will leave with the meat sweats (reservations required)
Owned and operated by our great friends, excellent pizza and extensive draft list; order the Redbird Pizza, well done, of course. They also own Joe’s Pub, a sports bar with a more limited menu.
Bloomington staple for 86 years!!! We highly recommend this place as you won’t find it anywhere else. It isn’t very impressive until you try the pizza. For starters try a Steak en dego (old school). Fried ravioli is also a great appetizer. Order an A La Baldini, extra crispy (it is their version of supreme pizza). Luke and Courtney have spent quite a few Sunday afternoons sitting at the bar here. Reservations are required and you can only make them the day of, request downstairs.
Upscale bar food and a respectable draft list. Courtney would tell you what salad to order but there are about a dozen change orders.
Contemporary American food, located in Uptown Normal, has a cool bar area and upstairs balcony seating.
When Luke’s dad was working for the Bloomington Parks & Rec Department, he spent a lot of time securing grants and making this project happen. Great area to go for a run or walk. Now has over 37 miles of paved trail around the community. Most of it through the town is former railroad lines so there are minimal hills. The trail runs right by the hotels and it’s a 1.5 mile walk down the trail to Keg Grove!!!
This is the shop owned by our wedding planners. Great place to pick up a gift for anyone.
Very nice shop right near the hotels. Caters to chefs but has a bit of everything. Check their website to see if they are having any programs the week of the wedding.
There is a Starbuck's located in the hotel. This is one of the local places, located near the hotel, and Courtney definitely likes this coffee better. Luke does not have the palate to taste the difference.
Stop in here if you would like to relive your college days.
