We reconnected again about 4 years ago. Over time, Mouse and I became close friends, bonding over shared life experiences, a mutual love of true crime and music and a natural zest for life and laughter! Celeste and I have been friends for about 17 years. We met while attending college at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. Both Kinesiology majors, we met in a work study job at Bourgeois Hall, renting intramural sports equipment to fellow students. We've been there for each other through love and loss, maintaining a relationship with one another from 2 different states for most of our adult lives. Celeste and I share a mutual passion for health and wellness and even lived as roommates for a few months back in college! Celeste currently lives in Lafayette, Louisiana

Best Man

Steve is my best friend. He is someone that I trust to the nth degree, and I am honored to have him accept the role as my best man. First meeting on a school bus in grade school we knew of one another, but we ran in different circles. We became very close in high school bonding over skateboarding, bike riding, art, and experiencing the wild and crazy life of a teenager in St. Louis, MO. We joined the Navy together in May 2007. Parting ways after bootcamp, our paths would cross several times in Norfolk, VA and back home in St. Louis. Each time we would enjoy the moment; a little older and little wiser. Even though we live in different states, we maintain close contact to this day, and I hold our friendship in high regard. Steve is a loving husband, an exceptional father, and will always be a brother to me. I am truly honored to have him as my best man.

Joe Bee Doe! The best roommate I have ever had. He and I share an analytical mind and have had many deep questioning conversations evaluating life, the current political/social climate, and the future. I have always been able to go to Joe for advice or another take on important questions in my life. He's also one hell of an insurance broker!

Sam and I haven't always seen eye to eye. If fact we did not like one another when we first met in the fall of 2008 onboard the USS JAMES E. WILLIAMS. Sam and I butted heads for a long while. He says I was "cocky" and RUDE. I say he is short, and stupid. As time moved on, we became friends. He has always been quick witted with a smile and laugh. Sam is a very caring individual who regularly makes efforts to help people in his life. I have always known him as a guy who tries to better himself every day. He has been a huge supporter and cheerleader for me and Claire. I am honored to have him as a friend and a groomsman.

A man who knows what he wants. Andy is definitely one of the most driven individuals I know. A man who somehow seems to be in the right place at the right time. Is it luck or planning? All I know, is he has been a great friend of mine for 16 years. Meeting in the NAVY, Andy and I worked closely together as sonar technicians. Many hours cursing obscenities and laughing. I have always made efforts to keep him in my life. He is a great fisherman, loving father, and someone I look up to, even if I have to lower my head to see his face.
