Chase and Luke met through a mutual friend (Mikela Broach) who saw the potential from the beginning. Everything seemed to be perfect because both of them were missionary kids in Latin countries, loved Jesus, the outdoors, serving people, and living a life full of adventures! Separated by 1,500 mi, Chase was in school for nursing at Azusa Pacific University (in California), and Luke was working at a Therapeutic Ranch for foster kids called Meramec Adventure Ranch (in Missouri). Luke texted Chase on New Years Day of 2021 for the first time and convinced her to work at the ranch that summer. Now, the only thing that stood in their way was distance and timing. After the summer, their adventure began. After months of long distance, months together in Missouri, lots of dancing, long conversations, and coffee, Luke proposed to Chase on volcanic rocks on the beach in the Dominican Republic! And she said yes… Now they will be living in New Hampshire as Chase starts her career working as an Emergency Nurse and Luke continues his work leading groups of underprivileged youth in outdoor adventures.
