We know that our wedding will be very exciting and beautiful up on the mountain overlook and that you will probably want to capture photos of everything. However, !please! refrain from taking photos during the ceremony. Our wonderful photographers, Chelsea and Andrew, will be in charge of those photos and are putting all their care and attention into them to be sure they are beautiful and capture the love. We don't want cellphones blocking any of their camera angles and all of your faces! We will be happy to send the photos they take once we receive them.
We are requesting that everyone that is unvaccinated get molecular COVID-19 tested a week or at least 3 days prior to the event, *especially* if you are experiencing ANY symptoms (yes, even a runny nose. The Delta variant has been discovered to show slightly different symptoms) and send the results to us at camilleandlukewedding@gmail.com. If you ARE vaccinated and you are experiencing any sort of symptoms (again, this includes small things like a runny nose) please also get tested. We ask everyone that is unvaccinated to wear a mask when not eating or drinking, and those who are vaccinated also can wear a mask if desired. Luke and I may be wearing masks as well. The reason we ask those who are unvaccinated to get a molecular test, is because false results occur more often in rapid (antigen) tests. Casual Cocktail attire is not as strict as White and Black Tie. It means you should dress up for the occasion, but a full-length gown and fancy suit are not necessary. There is a garage located at 100 Virginia St, a garage located at 1410 E Cary St, or you can choose street parking. Usually on weekends, street parking is free, but be prepared just in case, especially for the garages.
Yes! However, please keep in mind that the venue space is limited in size and due to COVID-19 restrictions. We ask that, if you feel more comfortable bringing a guest, please only bring one.
Of course not! And although gifts are greatly appreciated, we are not requiring them. You can buy items we have on there of course, but they are also there just to give everyone ideas. If everything is out of your budget and you still want to give us a gift, anything you think we will enjoy, a giftcard, or a card just with your best wishes written in it would be enough for us; we love surprise gifts! In addition to our Zola registry, we also have a Target registry: https://www.target.com/gift-registry/gift/camille-and-luke-registry
Southern Railway Taphouse has an elevator you can use around the back; contact us if you would like more info about it. When you enter the restaurant, take a right and follow that hallway until you reach a staircase at the end on the right and head on up to the private room. There is an attached arcade, and each game costs 50 cents to play. We will provide some quarters for everyone but make sure you bring some of your own if you expect to play more than 2 games!
