We first meet at a mutual friend from church's house who was hosting a bar-b-que in September 2016. We did not think much about it. We saw each other several times at other events. It was not until my Ugly Sweater Party that we finally exchanged information. Luke attempted to let me know that he was interested in dating but I did not catch on so quickly. I went away to Las Vegas for a family vacation for Christmas. Once I was back, our friends hosted another event to catch up after the holiday. I asked Luke if he was attending and we ended up talking the whole night! After talking for hours after the bar closed, Luke asked me out and our first date was New Years Eve! We finally kissed at midnight and we both knew this was something big!

Luke and I both love to travel! No big surprise there! For his birthday we went to Mexico. I love Europe so when it became time to plan for my birthday we ended up going to Rome, Italy. It was amazing way to celebrate my 29th birthday! I had no idea that Luke had planned on proposing during our trip. It was an amazing day of exploring the Colosseum and the Roman Forum. Once we climbed to the top of Palentine Hill, Luke knew this was the place he wanted to propose. After finding a lovely stranger to "take our picture", Luke proceeded to get down on his knee and ask me the most important question! I was in total disbelief and said "Of Course" and "Are you Serious?" We celebrated the best birthday weekend and we were ENGAGED! We are so excited to celebrate this next season in our lives with you! See you all in Orlando!
