Question

If I am coming from out of state, what additional lodging information do I need?

Answer

If you are coming from out of state, we are so thrilled! We understand that you are making a big journey to be with us, but that you also may want to explore MN a little...and we hope you do! As far as lodging, we have the Modern Group Center booked starting on Thursday the 13th until Sunday the 16th. You are more than welcome to stay in one cabins throughout those times. The state park is really beautiful & there's a lot to explore, but we encourage you to also check out Up North MN if you can & the Twin Cities for sure. Ashley's parents live 20 minutes South of Minneapolis/St.Paul and welcome people to stay with them AFTER the wedding. They have plenty of rooms and parking. We also have many mutual friends who live in Minneapolis who we would love to coordinate a short stay with for you. There is also Luke's lake cabin in Fairhaven, MN (hour North of the cities). An AirBnB or VRBO rental is also recommended. Please reach out to Luke or Ash about any of these lodging options.

Question

If I am from out of state, what activites should I look into while I'm in Minnesota?

Answer

The Twin Cities (Minneapolis/St. Paul) has so much going on all the time! We recommend checking out the lineup at First Avenue, an iconic music venue owned by Prince. The Minnesota Renaissance Festival runs until September 30th. Get out on one of our 10,000 lakes which can literally be found anywhere. The list is endless!
