AT CAMP! We have the entire Common Ground Center (https://cgcvt.org/) to ourselves all weekend, which means that we'd love for you to stay with us in one of the rustic cabins on-site. Your wedding e-vite includes a link to an RSVP form for anyone planning to stay on-site with us. See the "lodging" page for rates and details. You are also welcome to pitch a tent (for free) if you'd prefer to sleep under the stars! If you're not the camping type, there are local Airbnbs and hotels nearby.
YES PLEASE! We chose this date & venue so that our friends and family can spend the entire weekend together. We encourage you to arrive on Friday and stay through Monday! Check-in is at 4 PM on Friday (or any time on Saturday). Check-out on Monday is at 11 AM.
Yes! There's even a playground and ball field onsite.
While we generally believe in the more the merrier, we have capacity limits -- so unless designated by your invitation, please don't! If you aren't sure, reach out :)
Unfortunately not :( Camp rules.
Yes! The venue is 35 mins from the Burlington airport. Let us know when your flight gets in and we'll do our best to coordinate rides to camp. Ubers/Lyfts may also be available but limited, and rental car options are available. If you are flying into New York or Boston, the venue is a 3-5 hour drive from each city.
You are absolutely welcome to! As much as we would really love to provide all meals for the entire weekend, we simply cannot. We will provide s'mores on Friday night, continental breakfast/coffee on Saturday morning, camp snacks, and of course the wedding meal extravaganza (with veg/vegan and GF options available throughout). Knowing us, we'll likely have WAY too much food. There is a commercial kitchen available to all, and we just ask that you kindly clean up after yourselves. If this is not for you, there are several restaurants and grocery stores nearby. Delicious Vermont tap water and seltzers will be available all weekend. As far as alcohol goes, we'll have a lovely bar for the wedding day, but if you want anything else to drink throughout the weekend, please support all of the amazing craft breweries/wineries/distilleries in VT!
As we continue to navigate the ebbs and flows of the virus, we just ask that if you're feeling sick please test prior to arrival. Most of our time will be spent outdoors, but if you feel more comfortable wearing a mask, you are more than welcome to! Let us know if you have and Q's or concerns.
