We're getting married!

Luke and Amanda met at Blue Ridge High School in April of 2018. Since the day they met, they were attached at the hip and inseparable. Luke officially asked Amanda to be his girlfriend on May 17th, 2018. They will always consider this an important date as it would go on to be 6 years before their official marriage date; September 27th, 2024. Luke and Amanda shared countless lake days, movie dates, dances/ proms, beach vacations and more throughout finishing their senior year of high school. They graduated and both attended University of South Carolina Upstate for their freshman year of college. During their first year at college, Covid happened and sent them on a trajectory to live in Myrtle Beach for a year! While Amanda was still attending Nursing school, Luke decided to obtain his lineman certification. Fast forward a year later, they found themselves back in Greenville where Luke would go on to join the United States Army in March of 2022 while Amanda stayed behind to complete her Bachelors of Science in Nursing from USC Upstate in 2023. The Army was the biggest blessing that kickstarted their journey to Colorado and to buying their first home! Ever since they met, it was a dream of theirs to live in the great state of Colorado! ........... While serving active duty in the Army comes with a lot of benefits and responsibility, it also comes with many uncertainties and long deployments. Luke and Amanda made the decision to get legally married on September 27th of 2024. It was a private and intimate event with only us and one witness, which is why it would mean the world to us to have all of our family members and friends join together in the place our marriage began, to celebrate our marriage and lifetime commitment to each other.
