Luke and I met at James River Church during the Stronger Men's Conference where we both were volunteering on April 16th, 2016. We were actually serving on the same team during the event. Because of that we had a lot of time to get to know each other. Conversation just flowed between us. At the end of the day we said to each other that we should hangout sometime. 3 days later he asked me if I wanted to go for ice cream and go bowling. I said Yes! (Little did he know ice cream was the way to my heart.) After that we began to hangout quite a bit. About 3 weeks after that he went home for the summer. We kept in touch a lot, and I actually was able to see him twice over the summer and I met his family for the first time that summer. When Luke got back from summer break to finish his last year at James River Leadership College he asked me to be his girlfriend on August 23rd, 2016. Since then it has been an amazing adventure for us! On April 13th, 2018 Luke got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. (It was almost 2 years since we met and happen to be on the same day the Stronger Men's Conf was starting for this year.) We are so excited to enter into this new chapter of our lives and to continue on our amazing adventure!
