The Long Trail is a hiking trail in Vermont that goes the entire length of the State from Canada to Massachusetts. Stratton Mountain is part of the long trail. This route is about 7.5 miles long (out and back). Fire tower at the top for great views on a clear day. Hiking Shoes/Water/Snacks recommended. Check out the website for more details on this hike. If you want an easier hike, see below.
A go-to spot for Luke and Mackenzie when they drive home from skiing at Killington. Delicious beer and food. Has outdoor seating overlooking the Green Mountains and right next to the river. This is a decent drive (about an hour away from Stratton), but worth it if you like beer.
