Yes, if you are staying at the Courtyard by Marriott Rockaway-Mt. Arlington as a part of our room block, there will be a complimentary shuttle service to and from the venue.

The health and safety of our loved ones is our top priority! We understand everyone has their own level of comfort when it comes to gatherings. The venue is taking every precaution to ensure we can come together to celebrate safely. We are kindly asking everyone to please get COVID PCR tests and isolate (as best as you can!) prior to the big day - vaccinated or not! This is very important and we encourage everyone to take these precautions seriously. We all want to have fun, but want to ensure guests can feel comfortable and relaxed celebrating! A few other guidelines: - For guests staying at the hotel and taking the shuttle to the venue, all passengers must wear a mask and will be seated spaced out. There will be several buses so people can distance themselves onboard. - Venue will be conducting temperature checks upon arrival - Hand sanitizers and masks will be available and provided on site, as well as sanitizing stations. In accordance with indoor venue guidelines, as of now, all guests are required to wear a mask unless eating and/or drinking. We will have masks on hand for those who may need one.
We can’t wait to have all of our favorite people together in one place! With the current guidelines in mind, seating arrangements will be in line with the current COVID-19 restrictions to allow adequate space between guests during dinner, and we will seat guests together with their close family/friends/household members.
Both! Our ceremony will be outdoors and the reception will be a mix of both. The reception indoor area will be strictly adhering to the venue’s COVID-safe policy, including the minimum square footage required per guest and has had tri-fold glass doors installed providing an open-air concept. The large outdoor deck area will also be utilized for mingling and seating.
In the event that it’s raining, our ceremony will still be held outdoors, but covered. The venue has plenty of outdoor space that can still be utilized during inclement weather.
We are lucky to be hosting our wedding at a venue with tons of outdoor and indoor spaces so all guests can spread out as much as they’d like! Bear Brook Valley has been hosting weddings all year round and has been able to safely meet all guidelines. If your invitation has their name on it, or it says "and Guest" then yes! If not, unfortunately due to current capacity restrictions, we can only allow those listed on your invitation.
