Let's celebrate!

Thinking about our love story, I can't help but feel overwhelmed with gratitude for the journey that has brought Luke and I to this special day. From our first few conversations, I knew there was something different about him. His honest and up front character drew me in and I was intrigued to know more about the man who would soon become my partner in life. After talking briefly online, we had our first date at the Slippery Mermaid in October of 2021. It was filled with laughter and genuine conversation. In true Jenn & Luke fashion, we both wore socks with sushi on them. It was clear that we shared a connection and within three weeks we were officially dating. However, after just a month new work schedules got in the way, and we weren't sure when we would see each other again. That's when Luke took charge and suggested we meet at a diner on Sunday morning. This became a weekly date for the next month. It was short and sweet, but I knew from those early morning conversations that Luke was someone special. We quickly discovered our shared love for traveling, trying new restaurants and exploring breweries. This has led to countless unforgettable memories together. And on our 3-year dating anniversary, Luke surprised me with an intimate proposal in our living room, followed by a day of celebrating at different breweries. Our hopes and dreams for the future include creating a loving home, growing old in love, and seizing every moment that life has to offer. We are incredibly grateful for the love and support of our families and friends, and we couldn't be more excited for this next chapter as we build a family of our own.
