FAQs

If you have any other questions other than the ones listed, please reach out to the Bride, Elisabeth, at (231) 429-7720, or her mother, Laura, at (231) 884-1398
Question

Am I allowed to bring a plus one?

Answer

We are beyond excited to share our special day with you! We've carefully created our guest list, and as much as we wish we could invite everyone, it just isn’t possible. If your plus one is invited, they’ll be listed on your invite in the RSVP section of our website. As for the ceremony, we would love for anyone to join us and we welcome all! However, for the appetizer hour and reception, please note that it’s an invite-only event, so only those listed on the invite can attend.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please get your final RSVP to us by June 30, 2025! But please RSVP as soon as you are able! We are so excited to get to celebrate our special day with each and every one of you!

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

The dress code is 𝐒𝐓𝐑𝐈𝐂𝐓𝐋𝐘 𝐁𝐋𝐀𝐂𝐊 𝐅𝐎𝐑𝐌𝐀𝐋 𝐀𝐓𝐓𝐈𝐑𝐄. Keep in mind that the Ceremony is being held in a Catholic Church, so we ask you to dress modestly. For the ladies, we suggest floor-length cocktail dresses or any black dress. And for the men, a dress shirt and dress pants, preferably with a sports coat and tie. Please avoid casual clothing such as jeans.

Question

Am I allowed to take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We'd like to ask you to try to avoid taking photos during the ceremony. Not only because it is distracting and irreverent to pull out your phone during the Mass but also because we have two amazing photographers who will be there to capture our special day. We can't wait to share those pictures with you!

Question

Who can receive communion at the Ceremony Mass?

Answer

To respect the Sanctity of the Mass, only practicing Catholics who are in the state of Grace are welcome to receive communion. Those of you who are not Catholic may either remain in your seat or approach the alter rail, kneel, cross your arms, and wait to receive a blessing from the Priest.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 12:00 pm. To avoid being late and missing anything we recommend arriving by 11:30 to ensure parking and finding a seat before the Mass begins!
