Lukas had just returned from his church mission in New Mexico and was settling back into life at BYU when he ended up at a church group party at a park in Provo. That’s where he first saw Kiera—something about her immediately caught his attention. A few days later, he asked Kiera out, and that first date quickly turned into many more. From the start, Lukas and Kiera loved spending time together—whether it was training for a marathon, playing pickleball, or camping in the mountains.
