Has there been any postponement?

Answer

As of right now, our venue is still planning on us proceeding with the wedding as planned! If anything changes we will update this site. If you have any direct questions, please email Allie at dickson.allie@gmail.com.

Where is the reception?

Answer

The ceremony and reception are in the same building. So we will get the party started right away! :)

Where should guests stay?

Answer

The travel page is updated with our designated hotel block link. There are over a dozen hotels in the area and several Air BnBs if you prefer to select your own spot.

Is there easy parking at the venue?

Answer

There is a large, paved parking lot directly in front of the venue. One of our priorities was cutting down on walking/outside time for our guests in the Texas heat, so it's a quick walk into the venue! Ubering or other ride-sharing should also be very easy to pick up on the day-of in this area. BONUS: You will be able to leave your cars overnight and pick them up in the morning if needed.

What should I wear?

Answer

We encourage cocktail attire (suits and party dresses), but will take you as you are (no wedding dresses, please)! Keep in mind it will be summer in Texas (HOT!), but both the ceremony and reception are all indoors and require no commute (just walk across the hall and grab your cold beer).

What precautions are you taking for COVID-19?

Answer

We will have hand sanitizer and disposable face masks available for everyone. Food will be served buffet style by the event staff only. While we want everyone to be safe, we won’t be able to accommodate 6 feet apart for everyone within the venue, so we understand if anyone doesn’t feel safe and needs to regretfully decline attendance.

What is your plan if the wedding needs to be cancelled?

Answer

Our plan is to vow to spend forever together on August 29, 2020 no matter what! Our venue is allowing us to reschedule if needed, so we’ll throw a 1 year anniversary party at the venue if we can’t have the full reception this year.
