We may have started dating in 2018, but our paths crossed in 2016. I began at Cradlepoint November of 2016. First act was to get to know our local partners to our region of coverage. I was strongly urged to utilize RCN Technologies out of Knoxville, TN. My co-workers highly recommended a sales rep from there named Nick, they said he closed everything. As far as I was concerned that meant money, and I wanted money. I have always been successful in sales so I was hoping to find a partner that was just as hungry. So I called Nick, I about died when I heard his voice. After I got off the phone I turned to my manager and said "Karen, I have just heard the most beautiful southern voice, lawrd I hope he's not fat." Nick on the other end of the phone got off and "professionally" looked me up on LinkedIn later found out also on Facebook. From that day on Nick and I became a strong team in the southeast and even stronger friends. A year later that led to territory meeting with a client down in Birmingham, Alabama. I hadn't seen Nick since his last visit to Boise with his team in 2017. It was here January 2018 at the beautiful historical Tutwiler Hotel, after our meeting we had our first kiss (I did the first kiss, no big deal) and we began this crazy adventure.

Fast forward 15 months later, Nick and I were sent back out to territory for another client meeting. Nick was so determined to have us stay in the same hotel and room. Nick even urged the front desk clerk to give us that same room, I thought it was so sweet and sentimental. That night we went to The Tavern for dinner, so I could have my Key Lime Pie (to this day there has been no place that can beat this pie). After we had stuffed ourselves we headed back to hotel and changed into our lounge clothes. Nick began playing our song "In Case You Didn't Know," and asked me to dance. *Pause* (Up until this point Nick had been for the last few months pretending to get down on one knee. He would get down on one knee to tie his shoe or pick something up, he did this any chance he got). He got down on one knee and I rolled my eyes, began to laugh and told him to frig- off. I then realized Nick was shaking, and in his hand was the most beautiful ring. I began to cry, got down to hug him and of course..said YES
