Austin and I met back in October of 2021. I replied to the DM of a complete stranger, and the rest is history. I did not care about stranger danger! One night of hanging out and we knew we never wanted to stop hanging out from there on. Fast forward to 2025 Aust proposed in the sweetest, most Austin way imaginable. He created the most romantic playlist from songs that shaped our relationship. We listened and sang along on our drive to Escondido, Ca. Unbeknownst to me, the title of this playlist would spell out Michelle, marry me. I immediately started sobbing and experienced an unexplainable joy. My prayers had been answered and my best friend was on one knee asking me to marry him. By far, the easiest question I’ve ever answered! Moral of the story, reply to that DM! -Joyfully, Michelle
