FAQs

If you have specific questions please reach out directly to the bride or groom!
Question

Do I need a passport or visa to travel to Puerto Rico?

Answer

No! Puerto Rico is a U.S. Territory, and therefore, your flight will be domestic (as long as you are flying from the U.S.)

Question

Will I need to rent a car to get to the venue?

Answer

You can, but we recommend that you don't. There will be a centrally located shuttle that will pick you up for the ceremony and drop you off after the reception. More detailed information to come.

Question

Do the bride and groom have a registry?

Answer

No, they do not. Your presence is more than enough. But if you do desire to bring a gift, the couple ask for monetary donations. These donations will go towards a savings fund to purchase a house for their family!

Question

When should we arrive to Puerto Rico?

Answer

We suggest arriving no later than June 19th. If you would like to attend the Welcome BBQ, please arrive the morning of June 19th or June 18th.

Question

How hot is in it in Puerto Rico in June?

Answer

HOT. Very. Very. Hot. And humid! Dress accordingly, and bring water and lots of sunscreen!

Question

When I put Hacienda Mariela into Google Maps, it comes up as Caguas, but I also see it in Cidra? Which one is it?!

Answer

Hacienda Mariela is on the border of two towns: Caguas and Cidra. No matter which location you select in Google Maps, it will take you to the correct place. There is only one Hacienda Mariela.
