We met through a mutual friend from totally different worlds. We didn't like each other at first but then coincidentally, toward the tail end of summer, 2014, we crossed paths while taking the same driving school course. A few months later, November 7th 2014, to be exact was when we officially decided to give this high school romance a chance. We had no idea what the Lord had planned for us. A year later Luis had gotten saved and I found my way back to the Lord. Now here we are, six years later and completely in awe of the transforming work the Lord has done in our lives and will continue to do. As November 7th, 2020 approaches, we are eager to start our lives as husband and wife, holding fast to the truth that regardless of the struggles that will come Christ will remain unchangeable and faithful. He promises to be our steadfast provider, our living hope, and most importantly (as Deuteronomy 31:6) our Father who will never leave or forsake us. We pray that our marriage remain rooted in Him and that it demonstrate a love that truly bears all things; (Ephesians 4: 2-3, "Be completely humble & gentle; be patient bearing with one another in love. Make every effort to keep the unity of the spirit through the bond of peace"). As we celebrate this marriage, we want to encourage everyone to celebrate Christ and the precious gift he has given us through his death and resurrection on the cross. We look forward to celebrating the story he is writing, with all of you by our side! We ask that as the day approaches, you continue to pray for us that our lives and our marriage will glorify Him and rest in His will.
