After a long morning shift at Philz Coffee, my stomach started growling so I went to Quickly’s on my lunch break. The moment I went inside I saw a beautiful girl and she took my order. As sprung as I was she was too busy to really notice me, that’s how I knew she was a hard worker. While I waited for my food I tried to talk to her but she had no time for fun. However, that wouldn’t be the last time I would go to Quickly's.
I met Luis on my first day of work at Philz. I was in the front, working the register, and he came up so I asked him if he got a small coffee or a large one so I could charge him. He said he got a cup. I looked at him a bit confused. Because that's not what I asked... He noticed how confused I was and asked if I needed help. I got even more confused because why would a customer go behind the register to help me?? It turns out he worked there too! I just had not seen him before or during training. So I charged him 25 cents for his cup and went on with my shift.
