Is a passport required?

Answer

Yes, you do need a passport to travel to Mexico. Make sure your passport is valid for more than 6 months from travel date. So if you’re traveling in April 2025, you may need to renew your passport if it expires November 2024.

Can I stay offsite of the resort and still attend the wedding?

Answer

No. Every guest must stay at The Hard Rock Hotel and book through our booking agency to be part of the wedding group and events planned. The resort is inside of a gated community, and if the guest does not have an active reservation, they will be denied entry.

Question

Can I book my rooms with another website (i.e., Expedia, Travelocity, etc.)?

Answer

No. All of our guest bookings must be done through the booking agency. Any bookings completed outside of the group wedding website are subject to fees for both the couple and the guests, so book through the booking agent. By staying at the resort you will be part of the wedding group and events planned through your stay. Another benefit is that you’ll have an opportunity to make monthly payments.

What does it mean to be staying at an all-inclusive resort?

Answer

All-inclusive means that when you pay for your hotel room, that also includes ALL of your food and drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic). You can eat and drink as much as you choose with no limitations, including full access to all bars, restaurants, lounges and 24 hour room service. Meaning that when you book your room, that reservation covers every meal, snack, and tequila shot – as well as access to the many pools and waterslides on property!

Can I bring my children?

The resort is for all ages but most of our activities will be in the adult section.

What is the dress code for the wedding day?

Answer

Beach formal attire. Men can wear short sleeve button ups and shorts as long as they are well kept and fitting for the event, slacks and blazers are also encouraged/optional. Women can wear summer dresses, sandals (the ceremony is in the garden area, so I wouldn't recommend heels). Please no white attire on the day of the wedding event.

What airport should I fly into?

Answer

Los Cabos Airport (SJD) and shared transportation to and from the resort/airport is included in your room stay. If you live in Southern California, you can fly non-stop from Los Angeles (LAX), Orange County (SNA) and Tijuana (TIJ).

Question

Am I able to still book a room after the 30 day mark?

Answer

Yes. You will still be able to book a room through the booking agent but the discount and availability will not be guaranteed. Reserve your room by placing a deposit of $50 per person, minimum $100 if single occupancy. You can make payments as you go up until 2 months from the wedding.
