Getting to São Miguel, Azores (PDL)
We know traveling internationally can feel like a lot, so we wanted to make getting to São Miguel as easy and stress-free as possible. Whether you’re flying straight in or turning this into a bigger adventure, there are a few great options.
Option 1: Fly Direct to Ponta Delgada (PDL)
The easiest way to get to the island is by flying directly into Ponta Delgada.

Option 2: Make It a Bigger Trip
If you’re traveling from Florida or want to extend the journey, we highly recommend stopping in Lisbon, Portugal.
• Fly Miami (MIA) to Lisbon (LIS) nonstop on TAP Air Portugal
• Then take a short flight from Lisbon to Ponta Delgada (PDL)
