Love churros? Who doesn’t!? San Miguel de Allende has some of the best churro rellenos (churros with filling) and you can get yours at Cafe San Agustin. In the evening expect a line (it isn’t that long and is definitely worth the wait).
Enjoy a couple hours to a day shopping for authentic woven tops and dresses and traditional souvenirs such as a catrina (skeleton woman figure), pottery or Mexican folk art. There are tons of vendors at the mercado so take your time and do get there early before the crowds pour in. This is the best place to shop in San Miguel de Allende.
