It was a chilly fall day in 2012 at Rutgers University when Harry first spotted Luis in a lecture hall. More specifically, he spotted the scarf: a charcoal gray infinity number wrapped around Luis’s neck. Naturally, Harry couldn’t resist. “Hey, I like your scarf!” he said. Luis, however, wasn’t as charmed. Sensing the awkwardness, Harry scrambled to follow up: “Uh… where’s it from?” Luis, seemingly uninterested replied, “I don’t know, H&M I think,” and walked away never to be seen or heard from again. However, he didn't know how persistent Harry was. Fast-forward one year later, and their majors reunited them in a new class. A group project shuffled everyone’s seating, and as luck would have it, Luis and Harry ended up side by side. Harry recognized Luis instantly and decided to try again, this time aiming for the boots. “Hey, I like those boots,” he said, with a smirk. To Harry’s surprise, Luis didn’t walk away this time.
