Wedding part 1

Wedding part 1 is a concept that stems from the couples shared love of family. Due to age and health reasons, some of our guests may not be able to attend our dream ceremony abroad. We've chosen simply to celebrate our commitment to each other with our loved ones locally in a setting that represents home. Allowing us to create memories with all of those we hold dear.

Wedding part 2 would be a very intimate event, with immediate family and the bridal party in attendance. Our vision is a Costa Rican ceremony with views of the pacific ocean and our loved ones by our sides.

Jaco, Costa Rica is where Emilie & Luis fell in Love. During the pandemic, Luis nominated Emilie for a Healthcare Heroes contest sponsored by JetBlue. Contest entry required a short essay detailing why the healthcare worker you're nominating deserves a free trip once tourism was allowed again. His essay describing her hard work and determination as a first responder during the crisis won, and the couple chose to go to Costa Rica. Jaco, a small surf town on the pacific coast played host to the adventure. It's beautiful beaches, sprawling lush jungles, and wonderful residents made quick work of sowing the seeds for their love to bloom. They have returned several times since then making a promise to make this their shared, forever together space.
