Evergreen Lake is a beautiful spot in the mountains close to Golden and the wedding venue. A good spot to take pictures and there are some small businesses nearby or you can walk around the lake.
This is where we took our engagement photos! The RTD train comes from Golden and travels all the way to the airport. Union station is the downtown stop. Many photo oppurtunities as well as a historic station and nice businesses nearby.
A mountain with a great view of the city as well as mountain views. The whole thing is driveable, no hiking required.
Nice for shopping/restaurants.
Never have been but I know some quilt lovers are coming ;)
Another nice area for shopping, food, and walking.
If you want to explore downtown Denver on foot, 16th street is a good place to start. The entire street is foot traffic only and filled with restaurants and shopping.
Nice to spend several hours here. They have many interesting exhibits and it is also located in Denver's City Park with a beautiful view of Downtown.
The Art Museum is another location that requires several hours but it holds many amazing artworks. It is located downtown with plenty of things to do and see nearby.
The Denver Botanical Gardens won’t be as lush in November but they will still be beautiful with more evergreen plants and tropical indoor conservatories. Located near Cheesman Park as well.
