We first met briefly at Marcus and Melissa’s house in the kitchen. Just a quick introduction and a short conversation. Nothing big at the time but I remember thinking there was something different about her. After that I invited Christina out a few times. She says the timing just never worked. I say the universe was building suspense. Then I invited her to Old Republic for a small live concert with Marcus and Melissa there with us. Oh yeah… Danny was there too. And somehow we ended up eating pizza with two random women that looked like older (much older) versions of Christina and Melissa. If you know you know. That was the night everything changed. The conversation was easy. The connection was instant. We clicked right away. Same page on values, life and future. No games. No confusion. From that night on we have been together. June 11 will always matter to us. The day we met. The day our story started. And now the same day we are getting our marriage certificate. Full circle.

June 11 became a night I’ll always remember. We laughed the night away as conversation flowed and the hours seemed to disappear without us even noticing. He had a way of making everything feel light, fun, and completely natural. I found myself smiling nonstop and feeling so comfortable around him. There was no pressure and no awkwardness just genuinely enjoying each other’s company. By the end of the night, I didn’t want it to end and I was already excited for the next time I’d get to see him. After that night, everything felt easy and exciting. It only took a few more dates for me to know that this man was my forever. I couldn’t imagine my life without him and now I can’t wait to spend forever by his side. 💍
