We are getting married!

We first crossed paths when we were playing indoor soccer and he kicked my shin. We never exchanged words and he swears it didn't happen but my bruise would have said otherwords. We met when he came in to eat with an ex boyfriend of mine. He says love at first sight, but he probably loved that salmon from Bluebay. At first sight I knew he would be special. We became good friends, and after I turned him down at 16 we went our separate ways remaining friends. I was trying to be cute and romantic by saying, "no, promise you won't fall in love with me," like from the Nicholas Sparks movie, A Walk To Remember. It did not work, I should have asked if he had seen the movie lol. I always told Karina I was going to marry Luis and I even told him jokingly, scared he would run. He stuck with me like I did him through our own on and off relationships that are history. He got the courage to ask me to be his girlfriend on a trip to Cancun we took with my family and we are endlessly in love for life. We were good friends and now best friends forever. I am so lucky to be able to soon live with the most humble, hard working and funny man.
