Are children allowed at the wedding?

Answer

With our wedding venue being in close proximity to the beautiful Lake Almanor we have made the difficult decision to NOT allow children at our wedding. We understand that this may cause an inconvenience for some, but please know that this decision was made with the safety of your loved ones in mind as a lifeguard will not be present. What is the dress code?

Answer

We kindly request that you wear pastels, light colored clothing, florals, or linen to go with our garden themed wedding. However, if you do not have these items in your closet no worries as the "dress code" is simply to assist you in picking out your outfit. Am I allowed to bring a plus one?

Answer

Due to limited capacity you will NOT be allowed to add a plus one unless noted on your invitation. Debido a la capacidad limitada, NO se le permitirá agregar un acompañante a menos que se indique en su invitación.

Parking

Answer

The parking lot at the community center is limited so please ensure that you carpool with other guests. The county road above the venue is available for parking, but you must be pulled completely off the road to avoid a ticket. Hotel Information

Answer

Due to the wedding occurring during peak summer hours hotels DO NOT allow for room blocks. Please be sure to book your overnight accommodations as soon as possible, space is limited. Transportation

Answer

Transportation will not be provided by the couple. Ubers and taxis are limited and or nonexistent. Please be sure to coordinate a ride to your final destination should you be consuming alcohol. What food will be served at the wedding?

Answer

For cocktail hour we will be having a seasonal fruit bar with chips and salsa. For dinner we will be serving carne asada, carnitas, and chicken tacos with a side of rice and beans. Dessert will be homemade ice cream and cookies. Para la hora del cóctel tendremos una barra de frutas de temporada con papas fritas y salsa. Para la cena serviremos carne asada, carnitas y tacos de pollo con arroz y frijoles. El postre será helado casero y galletas.

Should I bring my gift in person or mail it off the registry?

Answer

We kindly ask that you mail all gifts to our house, but understand if you need to bring the gift in person. Le rogamos que envíe todos los regalos por correo a nuestra casa, pero comprenda si necesita traer el regalo en persona.

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We have paid several professional photographers to capture our ceremony, so please ensure that you keep your phone tucked away. Our ceremony will be an unplugged ceremony, and we would love if you would witness it through your own eyes and not your phones. Answer

Once the ceremony is completed feel free to post as many photos as you would like on social media. We kindly ask that you refrain from sharing videos or photos prior to the completion of the ceremony. What time should I arrive?

Answer

Our processional will begin promptly at 3:30pm. Please ensure that you have arrived no later than 3:20pm as we would hate for you to watch the ceremony from the parking lot.
