We met at a summer camp in 2018 where we both went as counselors. What’s funny is that we didn’t really speak to each other. We introduced ourselves and that was it! We reconnected through a church gathering a few months later and it was then when we decided to make things more serious.

The proposal happened at Louie’s birthday gathering with both of their families there. He stood up in front of everyone and began to share his testimony. After sharing his testimony, he called Ariel to stand with him and began to talk a little bit about their relationship. It was after that when Louie popped the question and all Ariel could say was YES!

Being in a long distance relationship has definitely impacted our lives in many positive ways. It has helped us to not only grow in our relationship with each other, but also in our relationship with Christ.
