Good if you want to stay downtown. Right by Powell's City of Books!
This hotel is further away downtown, but it rules. It's deco and very classy.
There's a really cool bar downstairs called Hey Love, and it's adjacent to a good music venue. On the East side, and nearly walkable to Coopers Hall.
Good downtown hotel, near the Ace, not as hipsterish.
THE BEST. We celebrate every Mueller indictment with pizza from here. The night N Korea almost bombed the West coast we went here for our prospective last meal. Get the sausage pizza and malted milk ball ice cream.
It's all so good here, but breakfast is the best. Hummus is A+, the Hazey Jane cocktail is the best in the city. Get a reservation.
Delicious Korean brunch in a cool micro-cluster. Really great grocery store (Providore) around the corner. My cat and I used to walk to get coffee next door together every weekend. RIP.
Brisket curry sounds gross, but it's amazing. Anything with fish sauce. The drinks are also great and come in cute glasses!
Get the fried chicken!
Amy's favorite bar from her old neighborhood. It's so pretty inside.
Real good pie!
Old movie house with a great balcony. Saw Phantom Thread here!
Dark underground bar with really good cocktails. The site of our first date. Cosplay it!
Vacation drinks!
Dim Sum! Get there before the after-church crowds.
Southern! Not my jam but people freak out for it. The fried chicken is said to be amazing.
We have a crapload of pets, but a pretty good view.
