ATL

We love this city for its FOOD, vibe, weather, diversity, and southern hospitality, and we can't wait to share it with ya'll! (PS they don't call it Hotlanta)

Touristy Things

If you have time to spare, you should visit the Georgia Aquarium and World of Coca-Cola. They are located next to each other, so it's easy to do both. I would definitely make a reservation at South City Kitchen if you want to stop for brunch or lunch. It's a very popular Southern restaurant. You'll need to Uber there from the aquarium/coke area. The Atlanta zoo is also a great time. You should also check out Elsewhere Brewing if you're looking for a bite. They have happy hour all day on Sunday.

The Interlock & West Midtown

Atlanta, GA 30318

The Interlock is a new complex filled with great restaurant options (Barcelona Wine Bar), bar options (Little Trouble, Drawbar Rooftop, LOA Rooftop) and activities (Ormsby's, Puttshack, Painted Duck). Not too far from the Interlock you'll find our favorite Mexican restaurant, Bone Garden! Antico Pizza is also close by (see above). West Midtown is also home to a ton of local breweries. Bold Monk has a great beer garden. Chattahoochee Food Works is also located in West Midtown. Our favorites here is the Fox Brother's BBQ and Morelli's for ice cream. You should also check out Fetch while you're there (see below).

Dogwood Festival at Piedmont Park

This is a free festival at our favorite park, and it runs from Friday-Sunday! There are tons of local vendors, food trucks, and live performances. Check out their website for more information. (We'll end the Beltline Brunch Hop here on Saturday if you'd like to join!)

Sweetwater Creek State Park

1750 Mount Vernon Road, Lithia Springs, GA 30122
, (770) 732-5871

Our favorite hiking spot 20 minutes from our house. The trail has been featured on a ton of movies and shows, including Stranger Things. It runs along the Chattahoochee River and is home to a historic cotton mill.

Krog Street Market

99 Krog Street Northeast, Atlanta, GA 30307

Head to Fred's Meat and try the steak sandwich to see why Chef Alton Brown (ATL local) named it his favorite sandwich! Also, keep an eye out, you'll never know who you'll spot. We spotted Usher eating ramen! (We'll likely end up there Thursday Night if you'd like to join!)

Any Ford Fry Restaurant

Ford Fry is our favorite local chef! Any restaurant he opens becomes an overnight sensation. If you're looking for a fancy dinner, make a reservation at Marcel well in advanced! It is our favorite restaurant in the city, and even celebrated there the night of our engagement. If you're looking for seafood, head to the Optimist. For the best fajitas you'll have in your life, go to Superica! For a great Italian meal, head to No. 246!

Antico Italian pizza

1093 Hemphill Avenue Northwest, Atlanta, GA 30318
, (404) 724-2333

Another ATL gem! Head to Antico for authentic Neapolitan pizza. You can eat inside their kitchen. Make sure to check out their toppings bar to create your own concoction for optimal crust dipping!

Fetch Park O4W

520 Daniel Street Southeast, Atlanta, GA 30312

If you're a dog lover, you have to check out Fetch! You don't need a dog to visit. We would visit all the time before we had Luda. They have a bar and usually have events going on during the weekend. There is also one in West Midtown.

For all the days along the way
