We’re getting married!

Luisa and Ryan met in 2021 at McDonald’s — not the most romantic setting, but it’s where their story began. Luisa worked mornings, Ryan worked the night shift, and they would only catch quick glimpses of each other during shift changes. At first, they were just coworkers, nothing more. In 2022, Ryan started going to church with Luisa. What began as simply tagging along soon turned into something real — he gave his life to Christ and was baptized. That was a big moment for both of them, bringing them closer in a way they didn’t expect. They had no idea back then, but God was already setting the stage for something truly special. Not long after, Ryan joined the Army. Despite everything going on, he remained consistent — always showing up, always patient, and always making it clear how serious he was about Luisa. She wasn’t sure at first, but over time, she saw his heart — and that changed everything. That summer, they began talking more, and by the winter of 2024, they were officially together. Now, Ryan and Luisa are getting married — excited for what’s ahead, grateful for where they’ve been, and ready to step into this new season with God at the center of it all

Ryan y Luisa se conocieron en 2021 en McDonald’s — no era el lugar más romántico, pero ahí comenzó su historia. Ryan trabajaba en el turno de noche, Luisa en las mañanas, y apenas se alcanzaban a ver en los cambios de turno. Al principio solo eran compañeros de trabajo, nada más. En 2022, Ryan empezó a ir a la iglesia con Luisa. Lo que comenzó como “solo acompañarla” se convirtió en algo real: entregó su vida a Cristo y se bautizó. Ese fue un momento muy importante para ambos, y los unió de una manera que no esperaban. No lo sabían en ese entonces, pero Dios ya estaba preparando algo muy especial. Poco después, Ryan se enlistó en el Ejército. A pesar de todo lo que estaba pasando, siempre fue constante — siempre presente, siempre paciente, y dejando claro lo en serio que estaba con Luisa. Ella no estaba segura al principio, pero con el tiempo vio su corazón — y eso lo cambió todo. Ese verano empezaron a hablar más, y para el invierno de 2024 ya eran oficialmente pareja. Ahora, Ryan y Luisa se van a casar. Están emocionados por lo que viene, agradecidos por lo que han vivido, y listos para entrar en esta nueva etapa con Dios en el centro de todo.
