When should we expect our invites?

Answer

We will not be sending formal invitations in the mail. You will receive all communication for both celebrations electronically.

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP as soon as possible. Confirmation must be confirmed before Christmas. This is the absolute latest that we will be able to make changes to our guest list, so please plan to try and RSVP by December 19th if possible.

We are absolutely going to be there, what should we do first?!?

Answer

Please go ahead and RSVP on the site. We have set up two different RSVP's for the two celebrations.

What should I do if I can’t make it?

Answer

You will certainly be missed! If you are reading this, it means you are extremely special to us. If you absolutely cannot make it to either event, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly.

Please go ahead and RSVP on the site. We have set up two different RSVP's for the two celebrations. The best thing to do right after is decide how you want to get there and book your flights.

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony in Dallas will be indoors and Mexico celebration will be outdoors.

What is the weather like in Dallas in February?

Answer

The normal high temperature is 65, and the normal low temperature is 45. Please keep in mind the weather in Texas can vary a lot that time of year. Check the forecast before heading out.

What is the weather like in Bacalar in February?

Answer

February in Bacalar is as good as it gets! This is the end of winter and is considered Bacalar’s cool (haha) season, the average daily temperature is around 85 degrees and it rarely rains. What more could you ask for?

What is the bride and groom’s timeline for the Mexico celebration?

Answer

The bride and groom are flying to Mexico on February 3rd. Departing DFW Airport Flight NK 343 Thursday February 3rd @8:40 am Arriving in Cancun @12:25 pm

What day should I plan to arrive in Bacalar?

Answer

You’re welcome to come get a head start, but the bride and groom will be very busy in the days leading up to the wedding and may not be able to enjoy this time with you. We would suggest you arrive by Friday as we don't want you to miss the Wedding Festivities on Saturday!

Traveling from Cancun International Airport

Answer

Distance to Bacalar | 345 kms | - Around 4 hours and 20 minutes by car - Will most likely be the best option when trying to avoid too many layovers.

Traveling from Chetumal Airport

Answer

Closest airport to the town! Distance to Bacalar | 39 kms | - Around 40 minutes by car - New flight options out of Miami Airport otherwise only way to fly in, is thru another domestic airport, such as Mexico City or Guadalajara.

Can I bring my kids/family/other friends with me to the Mexico Celebration?

You are welcome to bring anyone you’d like to come enjoy this beautiful and tranquil place during your stay, the more the merrier. With that said, we are asking everyone to strictly adhere to our guest list for all wedding events. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.

I want to stay longer with you guys, what are the bride and grooms plans?

We would love to have anyone and everyone who is able to stay (and needs a little more vacation) to continue the celebration with us!! We plan to head into Cancun the following Tuesday February 8th morning. More details to come...
