Daniella and Luis met on January 16th, 2015, at a HOSA competition in Laredo, Texas. Daniella was a senior, and Luis was a junior at Veterans Memorial High School. After Daniella finished her event, she was walking to go meet up with her friends when all of a sudden she heard a stranger (Luis) say, "How did it go?". Daniella proceeded to sit down with Luis and tell him how her event went. Neither of them knew each other before this event; in fact, when Daniella first saw Luis at this competition, she thought he worked for the school. LOL! They talked the entire night, exchanged social media, and have never gone a day without speaking to each other since that night. What started as a friendship eventually blossomed into a full-blown relationship and now marriage.

On June 2nd, 2024, Luis proposed to Daniella in their new house. Daniella and Luis's family were in on the surprise. After going to church and meeting up at the mall with her family, Daniella's mom told Daniella to go home and change out of her church clothes so they could go to a family BBQ. Daniella loves BBQs and decided to stop at Marshalls to shop for a new top to wear to this BBQ, which apparently added extra stress to the party planners due to her taking her sweet time. LOL! When Daniella arrived at home, she opened the door and saw a beautiful altar with candles and flowers. Luis got down on one knee and popped the question, and Daniella said YES!

Ralph is Daniella and Luis's dog. But to them, he is their child. Ralph made his way into the Rodriguez family in May 2015 when Luis's sister, Fernanda, was given Ralph by her now-husband. Luis immediately texted Daniella saying, "I got a dog!". Even though Ralph was not officially Luis's dog at the time, Luis's sister was nice enough to allow Luis to take over his care a couple of weeks later. Since then, he has brought Daniella and Luis so much joy. In June 2024, Ralph and Luis moved in with Daniella. Ralph has been living his best life with his mommy, Daniella, who spoils him extra. Ralph has been there since the beginning, and he is an honorary member of the wedding party and is an integral part of their big day. Be on the lookout for Ralph; feel free to take pictures of him, but beware, although he is friendly looking, he gets defensive if you try and touch him or his Mom and Dad when he is near. Please do not touch him without permission unless he is in danger. Daniella and Luis love you, Ralphy!!!!!!!!
